PGI doc’s book released across 160 countries

CHANDIGARH:The book, “Clinical Rounds in Endocrinology”, was released by Dr Yogesh Chawla, Director, PGI, Chandigarh, on PGI Annual Research Day today.



Chandigarh, September 19

The book, “Clinical Rounds in Endocrinology”, was released by Dr Yogesh Chawla, Director, PGI, Chandigarh, on PGI Annual Research Day today. The book comprises 300 clinical illustrations and 100 flow-diagrams, generated by Dr Anil Bhansali,head of the Department of Endocrinology, PGI, and Dr Yashpal Gogate. Dr Bhansali has written all chapters of the book. The book has covered related literature till December, 2015, and to make it comprehensive, approximately 5,000 research papers have been reviewed.  

The book has been published by Springer, Germany, and was simultaneously launched across 160 countries in the world.

This book is unique as it has been written in a lucid question-answer format and comprises 20 chapters with approximately 1,200 questions.  All these questions are unique as they have been generated during hospital clinical rounds. — TNS
