Complaint filed over Panchkula ‘encroachment’

A formal complaint has been submitted to the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Panchkula, alleging illegal encroachment, corruption and administrative inaction at a shop in Sector 8.

As per the complaint, Arysa Jewellers has allegedly encroached upon public and HSVP (formerly HUDA) land by placing large hoardings, stacked cartons, potted plants and other fixtures beyond the permitted shop area. The complainant has claimed that the encroachment has blocked the public pedestrian pathway and obstructed access to adjoining Double Storey Shop (DSS) units.
