CHANDIGARH: The city Congress celebrated the 72nd Independence Day at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan at Sector 35, labour chowks in Sector 40 and 44 and Mauli Jagran.

The city Congress celebrated the 72nd Independence Day at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan at Sector 35, labour chowks in Sector 40 and 44 and Mauli Jagran. Former Union Minister Pawan Bansal unfurled the National Flag during a programme held at Mauli Jagran while city Congress president Pradeep Chhabra hoisted the Tricolour at the party’s Sector 35 office. — TNS
