Victim found 1-month pregnant

The police have arrested a civil contractor for raping a 16-year-old labourer employed with him in Kharar. The suspect has been identified Mohammed Feroz (20), a Bihar native. He lived nearby the victim's shanty.
On the statement of the victim's mother, a case has been registered against the suspect under Section 376 of the IPC and POCSO Act at the Kharar City police station.
The victim’s mother told the police that the suspect entered their house on the night of February 20 and committed the act. Later, he fled the spot after threatening her daughter of dire consequences. The victim later told the police that he had been raping her for past sometime.
Doctors at the Kharar Civil Hospital found the victim one-month pregnant. Investigation Officer Lakhwinder said the suspect was arrested today and the investigation was on.
