Cops seize Illicit liquor from Kharar store, restaurant

In a crackdown on illegal liquor trade, the Excise Department conducted a late-evening raid in Kharar, Mohali district, targeting a corner department store near Nijjar Chowk. During the inspection, officials seized liquor illegally brought from Chandigarh. Around eight cartons, including imported beer, were seized from the site.

Further investigation revealed illegal liquor was also being served at the bar of the Sky Bites restaurant, located on the first floor of the same building. The excise team seized liquor from the restaurant as well.
