Counting of votes for the Panchkula Municipal Corporation election is scheduled for May 13 at Government Women's Postgraduate College in Sector 14.

To ensure a peaceful, safe and smooth vote counting process, the Panchkula Traffic Police have issued a special traffic advisory effective from 5 am to 5 pm on May 13. The road from Valmiki Chowk to the Sector 14 Industrial Area Cut will be completely closed.

The road from Sector 12-A to the Sector 12-A/14 dividing road will also be closed. Only authorised vehicles and administrative officers on duty will be allowed entry.

ACP Traffic Surendra Singh said, "Parking arrangements for the vehicles of the counting staff, police personnel, administrative officers, ward candidates, and counting agents have been made in the parking lot of the Municipal Corporation office in Sector 14. The traffic police will deploy additional police and traffic personnel in the area to ensure smooth traffic flow and ensure that the public does not face any inconvenience.”

He appealed to the public to use alternative routes and cooperate with the police.
