Chandigarh, December 3

Vijay Singh, Additional Sessions Judge, has rejected the bail application of Movish Bains, one of the accused in the firing incident outside Eskobar, a nightclub in Sector 9, Chandigarh, on October 11.

Sourav Gujjar, a TikTok star, was injured in the firing after a bullet hit his thigh outside the club.

The police had arrested the accused on the basis of an FIR lodged on a statement of Akash, a resident of Mohali.

Akash had alleged that he, along with Sourav Gujjar and Kunal, was present at the club when a scuffle took place with Bains, who was present there with his friends Sagar, aka Neutron, Sukhdeep Singh, aka Sukhi, and a girl.

He said Sourav started dancing on the stage when Sagar started throwing currency notes. Sourav objected to it, which led to an argument following which Bains allegedly slapped Sourav. Both parties went out of the club.

Akash alleged that Sagar then fired three bullets on him and his friend. One bullet hit Sourav on the right thigh.
