A large number of persons, including supporters of Shri Hindu Takht, staged a protest outside the municipal corporation building in Sector 17 today, opposing the revocation of suspension of a medical health officer and demanding action against erring officers in the death case of many cows.

The protesters levelled allegations against municipal corporation officials that they were not taking action in the matter. The protesters said that no one from the organisation was called during the inquiry, even though they were the ones who had first raised the issue. They said that the protest would continue until action was taken against those officials who were responsible for the death of the cows.
