Chandigarh, September 20

A blistering century by Ramandeep Singh helped Mohali beat Moga by 105 runs and register their third successive win in the ongoing Punjab Inter District Senior One Day Tournament.

Opting to bat, Mohali, aided by Ramandeep’s 71-ball 132, scored 345 runs in 50 overs.

Abhijeet Garg (84) and Sahil Chander (51) chipped in with a half-century each.

Talwinder Brar was the most successful bowler for Moga claiming 4/38. Gurjinder Singh took 3/75.

Moga boys were all out for 240 runs in 41.3 overs even as Gurjot Singh hit an impressive 109 off 105 balls.

For Mohali, Kunal Vishwa took 4/49, while Gurnoor Brar (2/11) and Barinder Sran (2/50) bagged two wickets each.

Patiala beat Bathinda

At Patiala, the hosts beat Bathinda by 182 runs on VJD Method. Electing to bat, Patiala rode on Jeewanjot Singh’s 116-run knock to score 305 for 4 in 50 overs.

Chasing a revised target of 296 runs in 43 overs after a rain interruption, Bathinda were bowled out for 113 in 37.5 overs as Patiala bowlers struck in unison.

Akul Partap Pandove bagged 3/32, while Aryaman Singh (2/13) and Harjas Singh (2/19) accounted for two wickets apiece. — TNS
