Mohali, March 22
Finding the report on the fire incident at a chemical factory in Mohali on March 15 incomplete, Deputy Commissioners Gurpreet Kaur Sapra sent it back to SDM Jagdeep Saigal.
Sapra said the report lacked legal support. She said mandatory permissions for the storage of explosive and the NOC from fire department were missing, which were mentioned in the report but not supported by legal provisions. Now, one more day had been sought by the SDM to resubmit the report, she added.
SDM Saigal had found improper firefighting arrangements at the unit.
