District swimming trials on May 27

Mohali Swimming Association (MSA) will organise trials to select district sub-junior teams at the Sector 78 Sports Complex on May 27 (9am). 

The trials will be conducted in two age groups (Group-III and Group-IV). The swimmers born in the year 2008 will be eligible to participate in the Group-III, while those born in the year 2009 and 2010 will be eligible to appear in the Group-IV. 

The trials will be organised in freestyle (50m, 100m,200m), backstroke (50m, 100m), breast stroke (50m, 100m), butterfly stroke (50m,100m), individual medley (200m), free style relay (4x50m) and medley relay (4x50m) for Group-III category. While for Group-IV, the trials will be organised in freestyle (50m, 100m), backstroke (50m), breast stroke (50m), butterfly stroke (50m), individual medley (200m), frees style relay (4x50m) and medley relay (4x50m). As per Parbhat Sharma, general secretary MSA, the selection will be made on the basis of qualifying time.—TNS
