To spread awareness about glaucoma eye disease, Drishti Eye Hospital organised an awareness walk. Citizens, doctors, and healthcare workers from the hospital and the city participated in the awareness campaign.

The chief guest of the programme was Dr. Surinder Pandav, professor and HOD, Advanced Eye Center, PGI Chandigarh. Addressing the people, he said that glaucoma is called the “silent thief of sight” because it slowly damages eyesight without any early symptoms. Therefore, regular eye check-ups are extremely important.
