PANCHKULA: Noted author Ketan Bhagat held an interaction with students of Satulj Public School, Sector 4, here, during the launch of his new book Child/God.

Noted author Ketan Bhagat held an interaction with students of Satulj Public School, Sector 4, here, during the launch of his new book Child/God. School principal Krit Serai launched the book on the occasion. The launch was followed by a book signing session for the students.

Ketan in a captivating manner in his talk brought out the essence of fatherhood, pranks with his father when he was a child and also stressed how important it is to love your father who may not always show that he cares for you, but in his heart feels a lot more than what could ever imagine. His talk was not just preachy, but involving as well with humour attached here and there.

The school principal said it was indeed a pleasure to have such a renowned author amidst schoolchildren, who through such visits and talks learn simple lessons of life. It also strengthens the school’s commitment to inculcate reading habits among children.

Reekrit Serai, vice-principal, Satluj Public School, said these were the kind of books the school promotes as they help in inculcating human values among the students.
