Evidence-based study in homoeopathy discussed

CHANDIGARH: Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Sector 26, in association with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), PGIMER, organised a workshop on evidence-based study in homoeopathy here today.

Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Sector 26, in association with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), PGIMER, organised a workshop on evidence-based study in homoeopathy here today.

The workshop was co-ordinated by Dr Gurpreet Kaur, Department of Community Medicine, and Dr Shefalika Singh, Department of Materia Medica.

Key speaker Dr Meenu Singh, principal investigator, ICMR, talked about evidence-based medicine and systemic review in homoeopathy. Other speakers were Dr Anil Chauhan and Dr Nishant Jaiswal, consultants, Department of Telemedicine, PGIMER, and Praneeta Pradhan from Advanced Paediatrics Centre, PGIMER.

Dr Sandeep Puri, principal, homoeopathic college, said: “Such workshops are important to enhance the knowledge and skills of our faculty members and to keep them abreast with latest developments in the field of research.”
