Ex-PU director appointed observer of youth fest

CHANDIGARH: A Panchkula-based Hindi author and academician, Dr SM Kant, former Director Youth Welfare, Panjab University, has been appointed by Association of Indian Universities, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sp-orts, Government of India, as Observer (West Zone) of the Inter-university Youth Festival, which will be held at Savitri Bai Phule Pune University, Pune, December 19 to 23.

Chandigarh, December 13

A Panchkula-based Hindi author and academician, Dr SM Kant, former Director Youth Welfare, Panjab University, has been appointed by Association of Indian Universities, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sp-orts, Government of India, as Observer (West Zone) of the Inter-university Youth Festival, which will be held at Savitri Bai Phule Pune University, Pune, December 19 to 23.

As many as 2,500 students from the 50 universities will participate in various items during the youth fest.
