Free pass at all 59 toll plazas across Punjab as Samyukt Kisan Morcha protests

There was no toll collection at the Dappar toll plaza, Baroudi toll plaza, Azizpur toll plaza and Bhago Majra toll plaza including others in Mohali district.
Several workers, including SKM leader Gurdarshan Singh, were picked up and released after three hours by the police. Protesters entered into tussle with the police personnel today morning when they reached the toll plazas carrying flags in their hands and raised slogans against the state government.
Police officials said they had no prior information about protest. They said SKM activists would not be allowed to protest or free the toll plaza. However, later on they relented and the protesters managed to free toll plazas for three hours.
