Residents had forcibly closed the liquor vend on Friday. They had alleged that the liquor vend was located just opposite a private hospital and a school. Today, the contractor with the help of the GMADA and Excise Department managed to ropen the liquor vend. As a result, some residents of Sector 68 and 69 assembled protested at the spot and tied their cattle in front of the liquor vend.
