Gurpreet Sapra is new Mohali DC

CHANDIGARH: A 2006-batch promotee IAS officer, Gurpreet Kaur Sapra (50), was today posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Mohali.

Chandigarh, March 16

A 2006-batch promotee IAS officer, Gurpreet Kaur Sapra (50), was today posted as the new Deputy Commissioner of Mohali. She replaces her batchmate and another promotee IAS officer Daljit Singh Mangat.

Sapra will also hold the additional charge of Director, Grievances and Pensions, a post which was lying vacant.

Sapra was at present posted as Special Secretary, Personnel. She was among the 18 Deputy Commissioners who were posted in the first major reshuffle of 20 IAS officers ordered by the new Capt Amarinder Singh government.
