A fine 77-run unbeaten knock by Gulnazz helped MCM DAV College, Sector 36, defeat KCW College, Ludhiana, by 90 runs, at the ongoing Panjab University Inter-College Cricket Tournament for Women.

Batting first, the Sector 36 college team posted 140 in allotted 20 overs. Gulnazz scored 77 off 49 balls, with 10 boundaries and one six. Akshita scored an unbeaten 23 off 26 balls and Simerpreet contributed 19. Inderjeet claimed 2/34 and Muskan Chhabra accounted 1/29 for the bowling side. In reply, the Ludhiana team were bundled out at 50. Harshita was the pick of the bowlers as she claimed 3/8, while Ishana (2/5) and Manu Rana (2/3) shared wickets. Arshbaani and Tees claimed one wicket each.
