Chandigarh: The management and staff members of Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, organised Akhand Path to mark Gurpurab celebrations. After bhog of Akhand Path, ragis and schoolteachers recited shabads, which was followed by ardas and guru ka langar. Students council and staff members initiated a project “Help the needy” on the occasion under which pupils and staff members gave donations in cash and kind. They donated Rs 2 lakh for new blankets, which will be distributed among the needy in the slum areas of Chandigarh to mark the Gurpurab celebrations. TNS
