Chandigarh: After breaking into the top-10, local golfer Karandeep Kochhar dropped to tied-23 with a pack of eight, during the New Zealand Open at Millbrook Resort. Kochhar (67-67-70) slipped to a total of 204. On Friday, Kochhar delivered impressive performance by carding a second consecutive 67 to enter the top-10 leaderboard. Kochhar, who had a fourth-place finish in the season-opening Philippine Golf Championship at the start of the month, lost his Asian Tour card in 2024 and fought his way back last year by finishing in the top-10 on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) Order of Merit.
