As a precautionary measure, PCR vehicles were deployed in the area. There are residential colonies, market, forest area, and open spaces near the spot. There are two private schools in the vicinity.

Police have cautioned people to be alert.

Dargah caretaker Aslam Sabri said, “A team of 10-12 forest officials visited the spot and nearby areas on Thursday morning.”

A UT forest department official said they would keep a tab in the area for next two to three days.

In December 2025, a leopard had entered a house in Panchkula, leading to a three-hour standoff. The animal later escaped to the Chandimandir forest.
