Jewellery worth several lakhs, cash and other valuables were stolen from a CISF official’s government accomodation in Sector 7.
Complainant Pooja reported that the thief entered the house after breaking the locks between October 26 and 29.
The stolen jewellery items including a pair of earrings, a kitty set, a gold chain, two rings, a bracelet, a silver bangle, three pairs of anklets, three pairs of toe rings and eight silver coins. Besides, two watches, two pairs of sunglasses, a camera, a voter card and Rs 12,000 were also stolen from the house. The police were informed about the theft following which a case was registered at the Sector 26 police station. — TNS
