Students of Joyland Montessori School, Sector 38, celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with enthusiasm. The celebrations emphasised on ‘love our country’. .



Students of Joyland Montessori School, Sector 38, celebrated the 73rd Independence Day with enthusiasm. The celebrations emphasised on ‘love our country’. The event started with a patriotic song and children were told about the importance of freedom fighters. A colouring competition was held at the school. 

Satluj Public School, Panchkula

A workshop on ‘good touch and bad touch’ was organised for the primary section of Satluj Public School, Panchkula. It was held to create awareness regarding child safety. Director Principal Gur K Serai said with the session, children would now be able to recognise and protect themselves against various dangers.

Shishu Niketan, Chandigarh

A historical exhibition — ‘Metamorphosis of Indian History’ — was held at the school. It was inaugurated by Anujit Kaur, District Education officer, Chandigarh Administration. The exhibition saw a huge rush of parents and visitors. Models of Paleolithic cave, The Great Bath, Lothal dockyard, battle of Plassey, Fort of St George, architecture of Mughal Empire, and various stages of nations struggle for Independence were applauded by the visitors. tns
