Chandigarh lad Karandeep Kochhar slipped to fourth position from tied-2nd at the ongoing Asian Tour International Series in Japan.

On Day 3, Kochhar dropped from 10-under to 8-under. After two successive bogey-free rounds, the Indian player had a mixed bag in the third round with five bogeys cancelling out his three birdies for a round of 2-over 73, according to a release.

The Chandigarh lad hit a birdie on the second hole, but scored back-to-back bogeys in the third and fourth set. He tried to fight back with another birdie on the sixth, but dropped shots again on the ninth and 12th holes. He then birdied 14th and bogeyed 17th, and carded 2-over for the day.
