The Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Sector 47, Chandigarh, celebrated the golden jubilee of their passing out during the two days function, with several events being organised to mark the occasion.

Former Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal RK Bhaduria was among the alumni who attended the celebrations.

Speaking on the occasion, Brig JS Arora (retd), former Director Defence Services Welfare, Punjab, said, “The school has produced over 300 armed forces officers, including 10 from this batch, besides numerous other eminent professionals.”

A school prayer, institution of trophies for best girl and boy student in academics, tree plantation, and a six-aside hockey match between the Air Chief’s team and the Principal’s team were among events that were organised on the occasion.
