Man held with 400-gm opium

CHANDIGARH:The UT police have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly possessing opium.

Chandigarh, November 26

The UT police have arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly possessing opium.

The suspect has been identified as Manpreet Singh a resident of Patiala. He was arrested by a team of the Sarangpur police station while possessing 400 grams of opium.

The suspect was arrested from near a government school in Sarangpur. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against the suspect at the Sarangpur police station. An investigation has been initiated.
