Man, son among 4 held for stabbing youth to death in Mohali
The police said the deceased was mediating a dispute between his brother-in-law, elder brother Mohit and a group of around 10 youths
The police have arrested four men for stabbing 23-year-old Jujhar Nagar resident Mukesh Baghel to death in broad daylight on January 1. The post-mortem was conducted today and the body was handed over to the kin.
Baghel was stabbed to death over an old rivalry. Those arrested were identified as Ajay Mishra, his son Arjun Mishra (21), Shiv Kumar (18), and Manish Kumar (18).
Officials said during the brawl, Arjun and Ajay held Mukesh from behind while Shiv stabbed him in the abdomen with a sharp weapon. The assailants fled the spot.
A murder case was registered at Balongi police station.
