Chandigarh, March 3

Maximum temperature today further dropped to 18.7°C, six degrees below normal.

According to the Weather Department, the maximum temperature yesterday dropped to 21°C, which was four degrees below normal. The day before yesterday, it was 26.3°C. On the contrary, the minimum temperature was 15.6°C, which is three degrees above normal.

The rain is expected to continue on Monday as well. According to the Met, before 8:30 am, 6.4 mm rainfall was recorded. It was followed by wind and thunderstorm.

Between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm, 8.8 mm rainfall was logged. A total of 21.5 mm rainfall has been recorded in the city this month so far. — TNS
