City Mayor Davesh Moudgil will inaugurate the 32nd Chrysanthemum Show - 2018 at Terraced Garden in Sector 33 here tomorrow at 11 am.
During the three-day show, the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation will organise various competitions and cultural functions.
The results of various completions were declared today which include King of the Show (Krishan Kumar, Sector 8, Chandigarh), Queen of the Show (CITCO, Sector 17, Chandigarh), Prince of the Show (AK Sharma/Manish Kumar, gardener, Sector 8, Chandigarh), Princess of the Show (Krishan Kumar, Sector 8, Chandigarh), and Best Flower of the Show (Virinder Sharma, Sector 8, Panchkula).
Krishan Pal Singh, executive engineer of the MC Horticulture Department, said this time two more varieties of chrysanthemum had been added to the show. With this, the total number of varieties had increased from 266 to 268. — TNS
