Minor girl goes missing, father alleges abduction

ZIRAKPUR:Acting on the complaint of a Bishanpura resident, the police have registered a case against a youth under Sections 363 (Punishment for kidnapping) and 366-A (Procuration of minor girl) of the IPC at the Zirakpur police station.

Acting on the complaint of a Bishanpura resident, the police have registered a case against a youth under Sections 363 (Punishment for kidnapping) and 366-A (Procuration of minor girl) of the IPC at the Zirakpur  police station.

In his complaint, Jagdish Paswan, a migrant labourer, told the police that his 16-year-old daughter, who was a drop out from school, worked as a domestic help in nearby societies. He said his daughter left for work in the  morning on September 18. He received a call from one of the flat owner’s that his daughter had not come for work. When he called his daughter on her mobile phone it was switched off.

He alleged that a youth identified as Om Shankar, a resident of Bishanpura village, had abducted his daughter. He alleged that the accused might have lured his daughter on the pretext of marriage. Further probe was on, the said police.
