A meeting was held here today to review the preparations for welcoming a Nagar Kirtan to mark the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Baba Lakha Singh Kaleran and Deepak Bali, Adviser, Tourism Department, held the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, MLAs and police officials among others.

Bali said four mystic Nagar Kirtans will be taken out from different parts of the state to commemorate the 350th martyrdom anniversary of the Guru. One Nagar Kirtan, led by Baba Lakha Singh of Nanaksar sect, will reach Fatehgarh Sahib on November 21. After night stay, it will leave for Anandpur Sahib via Morinda and Chamkaur Sahib the next morning.
