For the first time in over five months, Chandigarh reported no new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the UT health department said on Wednesday.

Chandigarh saw an uptick in Covid-19 cases in March as the second wave of the pandemic set in.

Health officials also said some 91 per cent of the UT’s population has been given at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
