One held with stolen scooter

One person has been arrested while riding a stolen scooter bearing a fake registration number.

According to the police, the accused, identified as Kulwinder of Saketri village in Panchkula, was arrested at a naka laid near the motor market in Mani Majra.

The police said the scooter was stolen from Panchkula and the accused had affixed a Chandigarh number on it.

A case against the accused has been registered at the Mani Majra police station.
