Oyo refutes allegations

Mohali, September 15

A spokesman for Oyo today said the allegations levelled against Oyo Hotels and Homes Pvt Ltd (OHHPL) and its executives by Vikas Gupta, owner of Casavillaz in Mohali, were completely false, baseless and unsubstantiated.

He said the complainant submitted only a few compliance documents and assured the company that the rest of the documents would be submitted in due course. However, despite several requests, the venue partner failed to submit the remaining documents. Therefore, the contract was terminated.

The spokesman said both Oyo and the complainant had signed an agreement that carried a detailed dispute resolution mechanism, hence, the matter did not fall under criminal jurisdiction. — TNS
