The murder mystery in Sector 54 deepened today as police revealed grim details about the unidentified man whose body was found in a forest near Palsora village. The victim, believed to be in his early twenties, was found lying in a pool of blood with his pants down and serious head injuries, believed to have been inflicted by a heavy stone recovered at the scene.

The post-mortem report is awaited to determine the precise time of death, but initial investigations confirm that the victim died due to multiple blows on the head. The CCTV footage obtained from nearby lanes as well as preliminary testimonies have confirmed that the victim was last seen walking into the wooded area with a man who is now the prime suspect in the case. Roughly 45 minutes later, the suspect was seen returning on foot.

The authorities have not released the suspect’s identity and the body of the victim remains unidentified.
