Alchemist-Ojas Hospital, Panchkula, has successfully performed 50 transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) procedures.

TAVR is a minimally invasive, life-saving procedure used to treat severe aortic stenosis, particularly in elderly and high-risk patients who are not ideal candidates for open-heart surgery.

In a press release, Dr Rajat Datta, director of department of interventional cardiology, Ojas Hospital, Panchkula (A Unit of Alchemist Hospitals, Panchkula), said: "Completing 50 successful TAVR procedures is a proud moment for our entire cardiac team."
