Panchkula: The district Covid tally on Saturday surpassed the 9,000 mark as 78 more persons tested positive for the virus.
The infection count in the district now stands at 9,045. With no new death, the toll remained 131. Among the new cases, 10 were reported from Kalka, six from Sector 15 and five each from Sector 16 and Sector 8.
While 8,403 patients have defeated the virus so far, 511 cases are active. The district recovery rate is 92.90 per cent. — TNS
