Retired Lieutenant General Kulwant Singh Mann, 87, was killed in a hit-and-run incident near Mansa Devi Complex in Panchkula on January 9. His wife filed a complaint, and police registered a case under Sections 281, 125(b), and 106 of the BNS.

Six days later, police arrested Om Prakash, a Saketri auto-driver from Churu, Rajasthan, for the incident. Inspector Munish Kumar said the MDC area is regularly patrolled, and security will be strengthened with CCTV cameras at traffic lights and key locations.
