Panchkula traffic advisory: Roads to be closed from 6 am to 8 am in view of Ambedkar Jayanti marathon

Several roads in Panchkula will remain closed from 6 am to 8 am due to a marathon to commemorate Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar Jayanti on Tuesday.

The Panchkula Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory in view of the marathon.

The marathon will begin at Shakti Bhawan, Sector 6, Panchkula, and will move via Sector 8/9 Light Point, Sector 9/10 Light Point, Bus Stand Tawa Chowk, Sector 12/4 Light Point, and National Highway 5 (03/21 Light Point) to reach Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula.

Citizens have been requested to avoid these routes and plan their travel well in time, follow traffic police instructions, and give priority to emergency services such as ambulances and fire brigades.
