Peace walk at Sukhna

CHANDIGARH:The volunteers of the Youth Peace Foundation (YPF), Chandigarh, celebrated International Day of Peace on Friday.



Chandigarh, September 21

The volunteers of the Youth Peace Foundation (YPF), Chandigarh, celebrated International Day of Peace on Friday. A peace awareness campaign in the form of human chain was also organised. The volunteers held placard with an aim to develop culture of peace in society. A peace walk was also organised at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh, at 7 AM.

Satya Pal Jain, Ex-MP-cum-Additional Solicitor General of India and member of the Law Commission of India, Chandigarh, inaugurated the peace walk. 

The YPF volunteers also presented Japan’s bestselling book-Splitting the arrow – Understanding the business of life-written by Prem Rawat, to Satya Pal Jain. — TNS
