The office of the District and Sessions Judge has reconstituted the District Courts Management System Committee in compliance with directions issued by the Punjab and Haryana High Court.
According to an official order issued on March 2, the committee has been reformed following the recommendations of the State Court Management System Committee. The District and Sessions Judge will serve as the chairperson.
The committee has been tasked with implementing the recommendations of the National Court Management Systems Committee’s sub-committee on “Defining Arrears” to improve efficiency in court administration.
Other members include the Additional District and Sessions Judge-I, a judicial officer nominated as the nodal officer for computerisation, the Deputy Commissioner of Panchkula, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Civil Judge (Senior Division), the District Attorney, the Executive Engineer of the Public Works Department (Civil), and Jasbir Singh Thol, Senior Vice-President of the District Bar Association, Panchkula.
