Vice-Chancellor Renu Vig informed that the convocation has been advanced to December to allow graduates to receive their degrees well in time for further studies and opportunities. It will enable departments and the students to complete formal academic processes earlier, without avoidable delays.
PU Registrar YP Verma held a meeting to review the preparations for the successful conduct of the convocation. The meeting was attended by Controller of Examinations Jagat Bhushan chairpersons of various committees, and key officers of the University.
The rehearsal for medal and prize winners and degree awardees will be conducted on December 12, and participation in it is compulsory for attending the convocation. Those who do not attend the rehearsal will not be allowed to attend the convocation.
