PU holiday homes get Rs 1-cr facelift

The PU has given a facelift to its holiday homes with a provision of modern facilities by spending over Rs 1 crore. 

The teachers’ holiday home in Shimla has 16 rooms with attached washrooms. The renovation has been completed at Rs 38 lakh. The students’ holiday home in Dalhousie at upper Bakrota has four rooms with attached washrooms. The entire work has been completed at a cost of Rs 49 lakh.

The teachers’ holiday home in Dalhousie is also under renovation. The work is near completion. The entire work has been done at a budgeted cost of Rs 53 lakh.

An official spokesperson of the PU said the renovation of the Golden Jubilee Guest House on the campus was in progress and the work was being done within the budget i.e. Rs 55 lakh. — TNS
