Punjabi singer Naitram, popularly known as R Nait, alleged that he, along with two of his accomplices, was assaulted by video producers over monetary issue.

R Nait, a resident of Dharampura village in Mansa district, in his complaint to the police alleged that he, along with his accomplices, was at a park at Homeland Towers in Sector 70 on Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, around 10 persons attacked them. The suspects have been identified as Sharan, Armaan, Mahi, Joban, Mangal and Sehajpal and other unidentified persons. The singer stated that he had paid Rs 3.5 lakh extra to producers for a video of his song. When he asked them to return the extra amount, the suspects attacked him. A case has been registered. — TNS
