Raids on to nab suspects: Police

CHANDIGARH: A day after the clash and opening of fire during the birthday party of BJP MP Kirron Kher’s close associate Sahdev Salaria at a night club here yesterday, the police are yet to arrest the suspects.

A day after the clash and opening of fire during the birthday party of BJP MP Kirron Kher’s close associate Sahdev Salaria at a night club here yesterday, the police are yet to arrest the suspects. Sources said five teams were formed to nab the suspects.

DSP Pawan Kumar said, “Raids are being conducted to nab them.” The clash between two groups had left four persons injured.

Two of them had suffered bullet injuries. On a statement of Deepak Kundu, the police had registered a case against Chetan Munjal, Rajesh Paswan, Rinku, Rimy and Arjun.

F Bar owner in police remand

Club owner Gunkaran Singh, who was arrested for destroying evidence, was produced in court on Wednesday and sent to one-day police remand. It is alleged that the owner had got the blood-stained floor cleaned.
