CHANDIGARH: The first nomination for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat was filed on Wednesday by Ramneet of the Bharatiya Kisan Party.

Chandigarh, April 24

The first nomination for the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat was filed on Wednesday by Ramneet of the Bharatiya Kisan Party. According to the affidavit filed by her, Ramneet is a motivational speaker and holds an MA degree in Public Administration from Panjab University. The 41-year-old is a resident of Sector 45.

Movable assets

Ramneet’s movable assets add up to Rs 23.9 lakh. She has jewellery worth Rs 8.2 lakh and a car worth Rs 14.25 lakh. She has Rs 50,000 in cash. Her husband, who is a computer engineer, has total movable assets worth Rs 1.6 lakh. The couple does not have any immovable assets.

IT returns filed

According to the income tax returns filed by Ramneet, her income in 2018-2019 was Rs 3.6 lakh. Her husband, however, filed his last return in 2017-2018, where his income was Rs 13,38,673. — TNS
