YPS, Mohali
On the occasion of the 71st Republic Day celebrations held at YPS, Mohali, Capt Amarinder Singh felicitated Jasnoor Kaur, a promising swimmer of the school, for her outstanding performance at the National School Games 2019. She was awarded a Parman Patra by the Government of Punjab for winning two gold medals for the state and one silver medal.
PML SD Public School, Chandigarh
A farwell function for class XII students was organised at PML S D Public School, Sector 32, Chandigarh. The celebration started with a singing performance by Class XI students followed by a western dance. The event culminated with bhangra performance after which the stage was opened to the audience. Principal Monica Sharma gave an inspirational speech.
The British School, Panchkula
The British School, Sector-8, Panchkula, organised the annual art carnival of the primary wing. Over 1,000 art exhibits with diverse themes and vibrant colors were displayed. A free dental camp was also organised. The chief guest for the art carnival was Dheeraj Chahal (HCS), SDM, Panchkula.
DAV Police Public School, Panchkula
On the occasion of Republic day, Haryana Home and Health Minister Anuj Vij presented awards and certificates to various personalities for standing out in their respective fields. Vandana Tripathi, Principal, DAV PPS, Panchkula, was awarded for her vision and dedication towards nurturing the school.
Sri Guru Harkrishan, Chandigarh
The Information and Technology Department of Sri Guru Harkrishan Sr Sec Public School Sector 40, Chandigarh, held an inter-house digital presentation contest for classes VI to VIII on its premises. Suhail Ansari, Rishwinder Singh and Khushneet Singh of Class VI bagged the first prize.
Manav Mangal, Zirakpur
Basant Panchami was celebrated at Manav Mangal School with fervour. The day was celebrated to welcome the spring season.To enhance the spirit of the festival, students came dressed in yellow-coloured attires and brought yellow eatables in the tiffin. An edifying video and rhymes were shown to apprise the students about the festival.The young ones enjoyed a spring walk, made spring season collage and spring scene in the scrap file and participated in bookmark-making activity.
