RSB Chandigarh lost both their men's and women's semifinals to bow out of the All-India Civil Services Table Tennis Tournament at the Sector 23 TT Hall here on Thursday.

In the men's semifinals, the Chandigarh side went down 0-3 to RSB Ahmedabad after Rohan, Sunil and Piyush lost their respective matches without even putting up a fight. 

While Rohan lost 1-3 to Chetan Ojha, Sunil succumbed to Jalay Mehta 0-3. Piyush was not match RSB Ahmedabad's Sikandar Joy.    

In the final, Ahmedabad will face RSB Hyderabad, who registered a 3-1 win over RSB Kolkata.

In the women's semifinals, RSB Chandigarh lost 0-3 to RSB Kolkata. Kalyani went down 1-3 to Kolkata's Sayali Bose, while Subha had no answers for Nabanita Bose. Gurwinder also lost 0-3 to Camblia.       

In the other semifinal, RSB Ahmedabad registered a 3-0 win over CCSCSB Delhi. 

Meanwhile, in the veteran women's singles quarterfinals, Delhi's Neeru Mehta blanked Minakhsi Yagni of Gujarat Secretariat 3-0, while N Sheela of SDAT, Tamil Nadu, packed off RSB Chandigarh's Saroj Chaudhary 3-0.

Indu Sharma of NCT Delhi humbled B Satya of Government of Andhra Pradesh 3-1 and Shobha of RSB Indore dispatched Karnataka Secretariat's Shashikala 3-0.

Hemant Kumar of Chhattisgarh dismissed Haryana's MR Niapuul 3-0 in the veteran men's singles competition. 

Surendra Nath of RSB Chennai registered a 3-0 win over RSB Faridabad's Ajay Kumar, while Parshat Bhambri of CC SCSB, Delhi, blanked RSB Mumbai's Ajay Kumar Verma 3-0.

Shanmrgo Sundra of SDAD, Tamil Nadu, got the better of Joe Roy Nonbri of RSB Shilong and Naresh Kumar of NCT Delhi drubbed HP Secretariat's TK Chand Goswami 3-0. Prashant Mehant of MP Secretariat proved too good for RSB Kanpur's SN Tripathi.
