Chandigarh, February 10

The city BJP formally started its preparations for the Lok Sabha elections with the opening of its main election office.

State BJP in-charge and former CM of Gujarat Vijay Rupani inaugurated the election office at the Kamalam in Sector 33. Rupani said the entire party, not only the candidate, contested the elections. “All of us should work for the BJP victory in Chandigarh,” he said, while addressing party workers.

City BJP chief Jatinder Pal Malhotra, former state president and Himachal BJP co-incharge Sanjay Tandon, former MP Satya Pal Jain and ex-state BJP chief Arun Sood also spoke at the event.
